About

Hello there. My name is Amelia Windsor.

I am a junior at the University of Arkansas, where I study communication and call hogs. I’m minoring in political science, at the time being, but I’m permanently looking at new options for diversifying my degree without jeopardizing my plan of graduating in four years.

Before moving to Fayetteville, I grew up in the suburban stronghold of Plano, Texas, one of the top cities in the nation for raising children. Or so multiple top 10 lists online have said.

Hey there, blogosphere. Here is a fairly recent, not totally tragic photo of me.

I love beauty, fashion, social activism, german shepherds, Game of Thrones, chapstick, The Office, bright blue skies, Poland, listening, and dressing for comfort.

I simply want women’s empowerment to be a main goal for our country, and for our world. I want to be constantly surrounded by bright things, wonderful people, and good food. This blog is probably going to end up being some conglomeration of those things.

Enjoy!

  1. The line “I want to be constantly surrounded by bright things…” made me laugh because it made me think of how someone said to me the other day “I hate people who are always happy” and people who make fun of happy, bubbly people saying they fart rainbows etc. Well I like being surrounded by happy people, yeh nobody can be happy 24/7 but embracing happiness when it comes around is the way to go. Beats hanging around grumpy people who moan all day!
